[SI] Small request, some notes.

Image sizes submitted for the Shoot-In occasionally get a bit large,
i.e. not compressed enough. Please bear in mind that there are still people
on slow connections out there. Also, originaly this was an issue with
PBase, though they have now switched methods of hosting and we're in the
clear for a while.

Typically, for web display image sizes less than 200 Kb are just
ducky. It's up to you to gauge for yourself how much the image suffers, but
at the 800 pixel limit , there's only so much detail you're going to have
anyway... ;-)

Bandicoot, I know you were threatening us a little earlier, is there
a photo on the way? My mail still occasionally dumps them, so it may need
to be resent.

And to all - thanks again for everyone's participation, past and
present, and the efforts towards commentary as well. Anyone lurking should
feel free to join in, it's not exclusive.

We are nearing the end of the list for mandate submitters, which
means we're going to draw up another list! Soon, probably Friday, I will
announce the "opening", and all anyone has to do to get on the list is send
in an e-mail requesting to play. There will be no preferences, unless you
attach a fiver to your e-mail ;-). The "request lines" will be open for a
week, until "Old Stuff" goes up, whereupon your position will be chosen at
random and the new list posted.

Yes, well...

I have the shot, but still haven't scanned it: I was so busy last week and
then this week's been the same. Just come back from two days shooting in
London, so I hope I'll manage it tomorrow. That is, if the letter from my
ex-wife that was waiting for me doesn't turn out to contain a bomb...
