Default FA:L Make yourself some D-23 with this pound of Metol -- read WHY here!

Are your portraits -- especially of women -- harsh and contrasty when
you WANT soft and sweet?? Then you need METOL, my B/W-shooting
friend.

Metol is a developing agent that's a component of many classic film
developers including my favorite, D-23.

What's so hot about D-23?

It's a soft-working developer, great for portraits
It has only two components: Metol and Sodium Sulfite
It's cheap and easy to make
At 1:1, it's a great one-shot developer; use and toss
It's great in a Jobo or other constant-agitation processor

So throw away that contrasty HC-110, save the D-76 for other subjects
-- and make yourself some D-23 for portraits with that classic look --
even with 35mm.

This is a one pound bottle which (with Sodium Sulfite), will make
gallons of D-23.
