Default 2x3 to 5x7 platinum printing 411

hi,

i want to acquire a 5x7 camera to try some platinum/albumen prints, but
right now all i have is a 2x3 camera (and 4x5, but i want the other aspect
ratio). until i get a decent 5x7, is there any way to get a 2x3 neg and
scan/print it out larger to get to a 5x7 size? without losing too much
detail???

is this a pipe dream?

thanks

You can scan the negative with a medium format film scanner from
Nikon or a flatbed from Epson.
You can then enlarge the image and print it on transparent film and
use it for contact printing.
Good scanners allow 6-8x enlargements from negatives without difficulty.
Do a Google search on digital negatives and you'll find some additional
links.

When you say print it on "transparent film" do you mean Pictorico?
