Default IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR JEFF RALPH AND ANY OTHER IMAGE THIEVES WITH MY PROPERTY

Robert Coe wrote:

Well, the place to be this weekend was in Williamstown, Massachusetts for
the Edward Steichen exhibit. So my wife and I headed up there and took it
in (and took a few pictures for the Shoot-In while we were at it). Some of
Steichen's work is superb; most of it is quite imaginative for its time;
and all of it is interesting for its role in the history of American
photography. But let me say this: nobody better tell me, ever again, that
any of my Shoot-In pictures are underexposed!

Hmm, my prints come back darker than I expected when I get them printed.

These were mostly original prints, which means that they were printed by
Steichen's own people under his supervision. So one has to assume that the
prints looked as he wanted them to look. And some of the darkness was due to
deliberate technical decisions, like taking a portrait without lighting the
subject's face, that couldn't have been easily reversed in printing.

Douggie,
I was doing some research, and I came across this. How did your
son's friend make out with his problem? I hope he came out okay.
And it's such a shame that you took such poor advise (sic!!!!) from
that Rod Speed fellow. You really are such a trusting soul, Douggie.

Fascinating that you're a tool in every group you post to.

BTW, whatever happened to all your .coms? Ryadia, technoaussie,
anni..., etc.? Good to see you have others to fall back on:

If I learn to fake an Aussie accent, can I join to? Still
waiting for all the links to go live, like "Contact", "Members". You
know, the exotic pages.
"10 point code of ethics we encourage our member to adopt."
Title of your ethics page: did you just admit the CPPA only has one
member?!?!?!?!
Also, does the phrase "Derived from Rotary International's 1932
code of ethics" mean you stole your code of ethics?!?!?!

Sorry to hear you didn't do so well on that poll. Wish I'd
known, I'd've voted for ya twice!

I just had a data dump and had to reload all my group headers
in RPE.35mm, and I had a chance to reread all the historical
Douggieness. Almost rhymes with "genius", don't it?
Every so often, the newbies need to be warned about your
idiocies. I remember being a noob, and not knowing, yet, that you
were retarded, and wasting several precious seconds of my life trying
to figure out WTF you were saying. sigh
I almost miss those days, Douggie, way back in 2007, when you
could, mostly, type complete sentences.
Where's the old Douggie we all knew, and should have ignored?
No matter how fast you run Douggie, you can't outrun your past.
Damn those newsgroup archives!

Willa

PS. Is Duncan Donald another sock? Does it count as a sock, since
you used it elsewhere, you old Technoaussie, you!

PPS. Say "Hey!" to Julian for me. And what's-his-name, the Samoan
(?) kid who computer-sat for you way back when.

PPPS. How is that "algorythm" doing? BTW, I hear they finally
executed your elemenatry school spelling teacher. 'Bout time, that
woman was clearly a fraud, pretending she taught you how to spell.

PPPPS. What prompted the return, in '09, to the Gisle site?

http://dpanswers.com/content/tech_interpolation.php

A couple very clever comments down there, Ryadia.

PPPPPS. 180MB file from 35mm???

http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-1937140.php

I have a Minolta DImage IV, and I never got anywhere near 180MB at
its max resolution. What did you scan at, 15,000DPI? BTW, the 10th
ring of hell is where they send people who misspell the word
"perfection". "(Epson's new Prefection 4870)" [makes me sic]

PPPPPPS. And a classic quote beating up Mark:
"Somehow I get the impression you have a problem with other people
having
some input in a thread, Mark. I guess eventually, when science gets
to view
your remains, the world will discover how important contraception
really was
in the year before your birth. Not from Chernobyl by any chance are
you?"
Even way back in '04, you were a total tool. A+ for
consistency!

PPPPPPPS. To paraphrase you, someday the future will look back on
your legacy, and they will bow in awe to your greatness. At least,
that's what my dog told me, right after he told me to kill my family.

PPPPPPPPS. "Beach Whistler"? Nice nym!

PPPPPPPPPS. I was thinking of enrolling at the Univ of Queensland,
do you have any recommendations? Any good departments I should look
into? Any favorite staff I could talk to?

Hey, twerp: isn't digging up 6 year old posts considered scraping the bottom of
the barrel in the backwater where you live?
Aren't you aware that 3/4 of the "Dougie" posts are done by low-life trolls
impersonating him?

Get a life...

Hey Noons, to quote someone whose name I can't recall,
**** Off RPE35.

I was rereading old threads and such, but replying to a brand-
spanking new post (well, couple months old when I popped back into
RPE35 and found it).

There's a difference between starting a flame war, and telling a
perma-troll to **** off.

Good for you, Bret.
So this is like the *former* pot calling the kettle...?

Doug's practically a celeb-troll-ity, just think of me as papa-ratsy,
shining a weary lens on his trollish ways.
