Default [Advice pls] Monolights

At a photo flea market today I found a pair of Crown VS-502 monolights.
Looked okay, one has a failed slave dectector (which I don't care
about, I can fix it or plug in a slave or sync). The price seems great.

Is the head the same size as the 302? Photoflex have a softbox
connector listed for the 302, but not the 502.

Anyone know these lights? I can't find much (anything) on the web.

Will finding tubes/incandescents be a problem?

Thanks,
Alan
