For those who are unfamiliar, Adobe Lightroom is a cataloguing and
editing application that prevents the problems illustrated in the
referenced comic. Be sure to give your photos meaningful names and
keywords and star ratings. "Show me all of the 5-star photos that I
made of Swayambhunath in May of 2011."

yep.

and these days, you don't even need give the photos names. scene
recognition does that for you.
