Default OT Help!!

Help!! Has anyone noticed any internet web problems? My pop3 accounts work.
My private member ftp site works. Usenet works. My time server app works.

None of my web links work.

I ping foxnews.com and I get this:

What is your ISP?

With Charter Spectrum I have no issues.

My pop3 accounts work.

My private member ftp site works.

Good

Usenet works.

Obviously

My time server app works.

OK

None of my web links work.

I ping foxnews.com and I get this:

I think I see your problem.

Try a different browser and an alternate news service.
Say something such as http://www.reuters.com

Say something such as http://www.reuters.com

The bottom line is I rebooted and everything now works.
Don't know why I didn't try that first. None of four of my browsers worked.
I turned on my second computer and it worked fine. Thought maybe a router
problem until I rebooted. I still wonder what the problem was. Not that it really
matters. Geez...This box is only 12 years old but it's still faster and better than
my sister's new Toshiba lap tops. :-)

that's because the problem wasn't at your end.

it did before.

either it's a piece of junk or it's horribly misconfigured.

your router is likely misconfigured and you don't need ipv6 on the lan
anyway.

it is default from my ISP ... I don't use it in lan mode, just haven't
taken the time to configure, memory stick suits me okay, but I do have
apps that use ipv6, like my newsreader connecting to my news host

that's the first problem

wtf is 'lan mode' ?

your apps will work just fine on ipv4, even if your isp supports ipv6,
which it probably doesn't.

other than wan

resource sharing, like NFS

my ISP supports ipv6

it would come in handy for binaries, if there were some tasteful groups ...
