Remote control for Canon Rebel K2 non-date body?
(JZ) wrote in
om: Hi there, I am not sure whether any remote control can work with Canon Rebel K2 non-date body? Yes, according to Adorama. The RC-5 will work with the K2. I use this remote with my Rebel Ti Date. http://www.adorama.com/CAK2.html What about Olympus C4000 digital camera? I'm not sure about that particular model. I know the Oly C-5000 comes with a remote. Try asking in rec.photo.digital instead. -- "Live fast. Die young." (Nikki Sixx) -Richard Cockburn |

I use this remote with my Rebel Ti Date. http://www.adorama.com/CAK2.html No, according to everything else. Firstly, there's no button on the K2 (non-date) body to activate a remote sensor. Plus, there's this: PLEASE NOTE: This non-date version is NOT compatible with Canon RC5 wireless remote. The sister EOS Rebel K2 Date body is required for RC5 remote capability. (http://www.digitalfotoclub.com/produ...canon-rebel-k2) And this: Among compatible cameras are Canon EOS Rebel K2 Date and Rebel T2 Date. (http://focuscamera.com/sc/main_item....3&lhalf=allacc) (http://www.digitalphotodiscountclub....p?id=226727003) (Just putting this out there for nyone else searching for this via Google news or other historic services.) |
