Greetings!
As I move forward in learning digital photog and Web page building, I find that I need a good thumbnail program.

I second that. I discovered Easy Thumbnails last month and am quite
pleased with it.

It does far more than just thumbnails, but it also does this well.

Use your photo editing program to create a very small version of the image. This very small image will be a thumbnail. But, make sure that you save it with a different name from the full size image.
