adoramazonupsps is NUTS!!!!
Placed an order for a Sto-fen Omnibounce with Amazon, shipped from
Adorama. Well, as of this morning UPS tracking had it 5 miles from my house. So instead of finding it on the doorstep this afternoon, I find that UPS has _mailed_ it to me by US Snail. The more I deal with any delivery service that has a "U" in the name, the more I appreciate FedEx. -- -- --John to email, dial "usenet" and validate (was jclarke at eye bee em dot net) |

Maybe it depends on what part of the country you're in. Where I live (Massachusetts), UPS is extremely reliable and often faster than they promise. They're not especially cheap, but I think they're cheaper than FedEx. Their only annoyance is that they refuse to be pinned down as to what time of day they'll arrive, even when a signature is required. Bob |
