OP/TECH Stabilizer strap
Has anybody tried the OP/TECH Stabilizer strap ...
http://www.optechusa.com/product/det...RODUCT_SUB_ID= .... w/ a long lens like Tamron 90mm (2.7"x3.8" cylinder, 14.24 oz) or long & heavy like the Minolta 70-200mm f/4 (~3"x6", 24.5 oz)? My purpose is mainly to keep the camera+lens more stabilized (than what is possible w/ just the neck strap) until the destination of subject is reached. Holding the lens w/ one hand gets tiresome, more so while transporting a tripod. - parv -- As nice it is to receive personal mail, too much sweetness causes tooth decay. electrons to spell out: Has anybody tried the OP/TECH Stabilizer strap ... http://www.optechusa.com/product/det...RODUCT_SUB_ID= ... w/ a long lens like Tamron 90mm (2.7"x3.8" cylinder, 14.24 oz) or long & heavy like the Minolta 70-200mm f/4 (~3"x6", 24.5 oz)? I've not used it personally. Still, looking at the picture, you might not want to have something heavy or long poking straight out... perhaps look at this strap also? http://www.ephotozine.com/news/fullnews.cfm?NewsID=310 -- __ A L L D O N E! parv choreographed a chorus line of
high-kicking electrons to spell out: Thanks Simon for the alternative. Might be a little tricky to find it in stock though. Is the phrase "hook & loop material" more in fashion than velcro in/around UK? It seems to be the non-branded alternative, yes... I see the term used here fairly often too. -- __ A L L D O N E!
