No, the glossy photopaper's coating will melt inside the photocopier. Try to
print on standard paper, if the quality of the result pleases you (which I doubt) you can achieve a glossy effect and protection by laminating the sheet in a pouch. Glossy papers are made for inkjet or gel printers only. "stenskell" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ups.com... We have had at least two people try using glossy paper in our works colour copier, and on both occasions it cost several hundred £££ in repairs! As copiers are based on laser printer rather than inkjet technology the quality of photos produced is never going to be very good, even if the best quality laser paper is used. |

Thanks For a definitive answer, read the manual that came with the copier, or contact Ricoh. I suspect, however, that the others who responded are correct, and that using glossy paper would damage the copier. |

You're trying to do something on the cheap - I suspect you're trying to use your own paper in the company copier. You'll probably gum up the works as most photocopiers ose heat to seal the colour toner to the paper. Go out and get yourself a lovely new Canon printer (ignore the cheaper Epsons as they cost you a lot more in terms of carts) either A4 or A3. First of all you'll get superior prints and you won't have to keep looking over your shoulder to see if the boss is coming. |

Hello, Adrian: Rather, laser printers are based on the earlier photocopier technology. Cordially, John Turco |
