in the papers today

will my F2's go up or down in price.

Nikon didn't say that they would stop making parts. On the contrary,
they will support their products. That means spare parts
availability. That is different from selling complete cameras.

availability. That is different from selling complete cameras.


So, up to this time Nikon was still manufacturing parts for the F2?
Amazing...I certainly would have thought otherwise.

Nikon's policy has been to make parts available for 10 years after the
official end of production of a camera. For example, the end of
production of the F3 was announced in 2000, so parts should be
available until 2010.

The F2 was officially discontinued in 1980 when F3 production
officially began. No F2 parts would have been manufactured after 1990.
