Another happy camper - D-50
Ok, all the arguments and discussion regarding the differences between P&S
and dSLR got to me. Short version is that I just purchased the Nikon D-50 w/18-70 Nikkor lens. I have not owned a SLR since around 1980 (Oly OM-1 and OM-2 lost in a fire) and had forgotten what they are like. I will keep the Oly C-7070 for underwater use. Thanks for all the useful information people. Rudy
