Only the dumb ones believe the whole seven virgins in heaven garbage.
Certainly
the leadership of the groups doesn't believe that.

Lets say naive, I wouldn't even jump to that conclusion
mythology is very much more important to middle eastern culture
one reason westerners have a great gap in understanding, in islam
God is accepted as one who is unseen and unknowable remember.

So let's just say faith in what "God" is telling you is not questioned
the way Western thought puts things to a personal test. Of course the
terrorist leadership takes advantage of this to every possible degree
and that's why they are evil.

Given the resources proper
agents could be found. We could start with our new allies in Afganistan.

Right-Pipe smoke and dreams. See how far that alliance goes if we left
the country tomorrow. Besides Hpw many years are willing to wait....
the army is training American translators but its a slow process and
there are many dialects of Arabic,...and many cultures that this crosses.

Islam it self IIRC covers roughly 1/3 of the worlds populous, in essence
if the holy war spreads to a much larger segment of Islam I think its
fair to say the resources don't exist.

I wish that I could agree. Unfortunatly we are dealing with people that are
using
fear and violence as a means of getting what they want. If we don't meet
their violence
with violence we will become their ervents. They don't mind killing
themselves or anyone
else. If the US elects a president that they don't like they simply threaten
to kill
someone and we change the results of the election.

I think your reading my statement: as not doing anything proactive
against evil people,...far from what I mean. Evil dwells in every
country and many times this country as well, its in elected office and
claiming to be godly in many places, business as usual for old two toed
nick.

Look at what's happening in France. They pass a law about not wearing
religous garb in
school and the terrorists take french hostages and threaten to kill them
unless France changes the law. Unless we fight back it will never end.

Look to the news media as the fault line, without that attention do you
think for one minute these people would pursue 1/2 the "shock and awe"
they have,...its all about glory and perception. Take away the violent
glory and need for achieving it through violence and you win the battle
a very simple concept,...one few governments seem able to understand.

Realistically this is a test of wills, and I don't see a change
happening in November from the current ill begotten path,...I do plan on
voting towards a positive change but I doubt it will happen. Instead I
see more or the same and probably worse, I could forecast some nasty
big surprises for those who think GWB has made their lives safer but
then that would just be conjecture as well.... and I don't wish anyone
harm despite the discrepancy between what I would view as right and the
way our current leaders run the country. All things stated, when its
time to speak my peace to my "God" I am glad I didn't not vote for GWB
and wash my hands in anyone but Christ's blood.
