Video Watching On A TV/Camcorder Question
Hello,
Question on video Camcorders, please. Thinking of getting a JVC model with built in 8 Gigs of internal memory. Let's say I get a memory card of 16 Gigs also. At the highest resolution, this still gives me no more than about a few hours, probably. Want to watch on a TV. Guess I need a HDMI cable from the Camcorder to the TV. No problem the first few times, but would then like to use all the memory for new pix. So, I guess, i can transfer thepix to a dedicated external PC HD. Question: How can I watch on a TV, in the future, what's been collected on the HD ? Do I have to re-transfer them back to a memory card, insert it in the Camcorder to watch. Or, is there a simple memory card reader that will connect via an HDMI directly to the TV so I don't have to involve the Camcorder? Or,... ? Thanks, Bob |

Thanks, Bob Some TVs and Blu-ray players will play AVCHD files. If your camera records in that format then you could play your videos without re-encoding them. |
