Default Negatran Care

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with Beseler's 35mm Negatran.
They are great when running through many pictures. Problem is that the film
tends to buckle causing excess film bulge. Tried taking it apart and
cleaning all surfaces with alcohol. That seams to make things worse. It
would suggest that a lubricant could help. But lubricants and film don't
mix.

Any suggestions?

Never had a problem like that, it could be the long rubber drive band
(O-ring is failing) or if you just got it and someone else put it together
it may not be properly assembled.

Could be good to contact Besseler.

At a photo flea market today I found a pair of Crown VS-502 monolights.Looked okay, one has a failed slave dectector (which I don't care about,I can fix it or plug in a slave or sync). The price seems great.Isthe head the same size as the 302? Phot Alan Browne Medium Format Photography Equipment 1 April 12th 05 05:48 PM
