Smart Media
I have an old Olympus Camedia D-340R digital with a smart media card.
When we switched from Windows ME to Windows 98, I lost my icon and ability to access my pics from the card. I looked on Toshiba's support site, but do not see it addressed. I have a Satellite 2805-S603. Any ideas for me. |

1. Use a card reader.
2. Otherwise, you may have to reinstall the drivers that came with camera. 3. Upgrade to WinXP -- which generally make such issues go away. Ah!, that make two of us ... Having switched to Win2000 I had assumed that
camera was trash (unfortunately) however when I installed Camedia that came with my C740 I found that it would "read" USB and SERIAL. So ... see if you can lay hands on a copy of Camedia 4.1. I only use it for downloading, not any of it's picture manipulation functions. Doug. wrote: I have an old Olympus Camedia D-340R digital with a smart media card.
