Default More on Joao Silva & his recovery after Afghanistan

Another side of the combat/war photographer Joao Silva's recovery story
after he lost his legs to a mine/IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2010.
This is one tough photographer.
He is, along with Greg Marinovic is one of the two survivors of the
original "Bang Bang Club" these guys continue to put themselves in
harms way to bring conflict images to various news media outlets.

i don't have sufficient words to express my admiration for the guys who
have that job. Obviously they are doing it as a life style, not just to
earn a buck.
It's an important job, as it helps keep us honest.
