Default Sending large files across the internet.

Hi all...

I had the need to send some very large files across the internet the
other day and found a very good site for doing this.

www.sendthisfile.com

basically you can get a free account and it will allow you to send
files of unlimited size across the web for free without the need for
ftp or p2p or posting them on a website etc etc.

The recipient receives a link by email and voila...it's done.

There are limitations on the free one of course.

1. They have to collect the file within three days.
2. You can only send one file at a time (I usually zip and password
protect all at once)
3. Security is no better than email (hence the zip and password
protect)
4. The file can only be downloaded a maximum of three times.

You can pay of course to lift all these restrictions but for the casual
user none of these things should be a problem.

I've used it on files up to 400Mb and have found it to be superb..

Cheers
Steve
