Default Doom and gloom for ilfochrome/cibachrome?

I was just wondering if anyone heard any news as to the state of affairs of
Ilfochrome? I just read on a website, www.christopherburkett.com , that
Ilford is in financial troubles and they have closed all the warehouses but
one in the United States. Is it time to stop making masks, sell the
enlarger and go digital to print color?

I don't claim to be the best or even any good but just love what I do. And I
do support the products I use (www.tranquilimages.com).

Maybe its the time to support the products you
care about and purchase as much as you can afford.

I liked your work. Calm, unstrained, is what I'd call it.

I would guess that the namelessly radioactive one would hate it, as it
was "Zoney" in having those motion blurred streams in the larger
formats. Hmm, color Zone system type images.

I only did Cibas from 35mm and had to control contrast through
developer modification, so it was good to see the effect of masking,
as you used it.

Cheers.

Don't be hasty. There may be some life left in Ilford, yet.
