Assuming that 1.4MP spec is counting RGB, not full color pixels, that's more like 1/3 MP, probably about 640x480. What is available today is 1MP 1280x848 but it costs $3k, just for the EVF:

720p HD with a little extra top & bottom for info or almost 2:3 ratio stills which would need 854 pixels tall with no letterboxing. A full camera kit is priced in the range of a modest home or luxury car.
