QUESTION:taking concert photos?
I'm doing some bw photos with my Nikon F55. I'm interested in some opinions
in how do I capture the atmospere and the feeling on faces. I'm hooked to faces, portraits. Here's the view: It's usualy an old going out, art place where young artists come, the stage is the only light up place (few reflectors), the band is 7 people (2 guitars, 1 bas, 1 trumpet/back vocal, 1 drumms, 1 synth, 1 bongo/vocal). They are all guys with dreadlocks and smiles on their faces. They play sub-reggae. I'd like to capture the mood of the sad and the joyfull songs, their fun. Anyway, thanks. |

QUESTION:taking concert photos?
I'd like to capture the mood of the sad and the joyfull songs, their fun. Anyway, thanks. Don´t use flash, use the available light, use a highspeed film (the grain will only add to the mood), try getting in close. You don´t tell anything about your lenses, but if you got a fast prime (28 mm or 50 mm), I would use that... -- Venlig hilsen/best regards René Ernst Nielsen +45 66122111 +45 28722962 |
