Er, define plastic! Widely speaking, I'd say yes..... but the good ones
have titanium dust mixed in....

As are carbon fiber shafts -- although I prefer the feedback quality of
old-fashioned steel shafts. Not that I'm any good, as my handicap is
higher than the GNP of several Central American countries...


I get more control with carbon fiber because of the lighter weight. But,
golf is such a head game that we must each use what makes us feel more
comfortable. Just think of the almost inevitable result when playing a match
and you must hit the ball over a 25 yard water hazard.
