Default Sony DSC-T9 exposure bracketing problem

Hi,

hearing all the hype about HDR i wanted to try it out by myself.
I'm using my Sony Cybershot DSC-T9 which offers a so-called "exposure
bracket" mode where you can select the exposure diff (like +/- 1,0) and
then the camera is supposed to shoot 3 pictures in a row.

The first with +1,0, second with +/-0 and the third one with -1,0
exposure.

Unfortunately this feature looks to me like having a bug because i get
2 Pictures with +/- 0 and one with -1,0 exposure.

Has anybody recognised the same problem? Do you know if there is a
firmware upgrade available? I fear that calling the Sony support
hotline won't help a lot..
