Mid November Eastern US Shooting Spots?
We will be taking a couple of weeks starting in mid-November to run around
the Eastern US. I know itıs wayyyyyy to late for fall colors and wayyyy to early for artistic snow falls. My question what special activities can I try and shoot and where, while on my little excursion at this time of year. Thanks for any info. -- PWW (Paul Wayne Wilson) Over 1,000 Photographs Online at, http://PhotoStockFile.com |

Mid November Eastern US Shooting Spots?
Really I am pretty flexible on this. Lets say East of the Mississippi River.
If there were lots of autumn flowers (if there is such a thing) blooming in SC, Iıd like to know. If there were a lots of deer feeding in a certain park in Vermont, Idı Like to know. Maybe a better way to limit places would be to say I am looking for really great shooting spots, Wildlife, Nature or maybe Festivals, during that time. I have been know to drive well over 4,000 miles in a two week period while shooting things in the Eastern US before. Mid November Eastern US Shooting Spots?
Mid November Eastern US Shooting Spots? There certainly are autumn
blooming flowers. Asters are still colorful here, and Witch Hazel (tree) blooms in December (or even January) up here in Western New York. There are likely still many waterfowl along the eastern flyway. You could head to DC and see their Blooming Idiots too. PSsquare |

Off season like this can be a nice time to photograph coastal areas
that are usually packed with people. It's also a great time for bird photography, as many are on the move along the eastern seaboard "flyway." Consider Assateague National Seashore in Maryland/Virginia, Chincoteague in Virginia (really a continuation of Assateague), Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia Beach, etc. Cape May in NJ also offers good chances for bird photography. In particular, Back Bay and the attached False Cape State Park in Virginia Beach make up quite a long stretch of unmarred oceanfront. You won't see nearly as many people as at Assateague, and very few vehicles on the beach (a problem at Assateague, IMO). I'm not certain, but some spots in the SE may still have some foliage colors going on. Here in the Philadelphia area, we're pretty much at peak this weekend, albeit with some leaf drop. It's quite pretty today (and 80 degrees!). Brian W. Abington, Pa. "PSsquare" wrote in message . .. Mid November Eastern US Shooting Spots? There certainly are autumn blooming flowers.
