2438 dpi yields scans of 3455 x 2300 pixels for 8 Mpix scans.
8 bits per color channel matches popular free s/w such as Photoshop 5.0
LE (included in sale).

Makes excellent prints up to 11.5" x 7.7" (@ 300dpi)
Makes very good prints up to 17.25" x 11.5" (@200 dpi)

Scans a max-dpi slide in about 50 seconds; negative in 1 min 10.
Preview scans in 15 - 20 seconds...
