1950s transparencies

Do I have to get a special scanner or will an ordinary one do? what do you mean by an ordinary scanner? you obviously need a scanner that can handle slides. putting slides on a flatbed isn't going to work out that well. some flatbeds have slide attachments, but a dedicated slide scanner, such as a nikon coolscan, will give you the best quality. there are slide scanning services that will do it for you, if you don't have the necessary equipment and/or don't want to bother doing it yourself. |
