Why doesn't she sue the school board for $120M dollars like that female
sportscaster? In America, insane jury verdicts are common and the reason
the country is slowing sliding into debt oblivion.

Damages to the reputation of a school teacher are not in the league
with damages to the reputation of a nationally known media figure.

The award amounts are usually pie-in-the-sky, though. The person who
videotaped the sportscaster, and the student who sent out the nude
image, will never be in a position to actually pay a part of the
amount awarded.

The hotels, though, may have to pony up in the case of the
sportscaster.

More than ridiculous, what is the hotel supposed to do to prevent this,
install steel plates in walls, have cameras in every hallway (that'll go over
GREAT with celebrities) in-case someone is filming through a peep-hole?

As in this particular case, the hotels could at a minimum protect the privacy
of their guests by not voluntarily giving individuals who might, or might not
be stalkers, guest room numbers. They should also vet odd requests to be
given a room next to, or near an individual.

As for as cameras in every hallway, they are already there.

But I saw on "The Americans" clever ways to dupe the hotel into
revealing room numbers!!

I just don't see how her reputation was damaged, but do see some angst
(unless she's just a good actor) in her knowing there were and are
photos out in the public of her naked. Really? It's that big a deal?

I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm
not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Yes, it's that big a deal. There is hardly anything more personal that
the young punk could have stolen and used maliciously than those
photos. It would warm my heart if the young thug got the maximum
penalty of a $10,500 fine and four years imprisonment.

I agree with almost everything that you have said and almost everything that

If she was so anxious about the nude picture being released to the general
public, she might at least have a screenlock on her phone if she carelessly
leaves it lying around the classroom while going away to do something.
