Well, this is what happens when any company buys another
specialized one, rips out all the cash and closes down all
R&D. Since Tamron took over, nothing has happened to
Bronica cameras and lenses: they just milked it for all
it could and then dropped it. Perfectly normal.
Desirable? No. Anything to do with the "pending death"
of anything film? In your dreams. It would happen no matter
what, with the sort of approach Tamron took to it.

Well there goes another one due to Digital! The company even admits it.
Where will it end?
