money to spend at jessops
Hi,
I have some vouchers to spend at Jessops and want a decent point and shoot cam ... we have up to £500 all in (insurance thing). Looking at the canon IXUS 60(?)... anything to compare it to - nice size and build quality. Why though are there CD cards to expensive - £86 for a 1 gig card?? £17 on amazon.. what gives? John UK |

If you are in the UK there are plenty of online resellers who do SD cards a
lot cheaper. Off the top of my head Expansys are one of them, http://www.expansys.com but if you google you'll be hit by loads of suppliers. I assume Jessops capitalise on the initial burst of enthusiasm to scalp people when they've just bought a camera. BTW, I also am thinking of the Canon Ixus 60 .... it is just so damn nicely put together although I suspect there are better cameras in the price range. With £500 you can almost get two! John UK They have just knocked around £65 off the Nikon D50 DSLR. It is now below £400 for the first time. Not exactly pocketable unless you have 12-inch square pockets, but a lovely camera. |

Yeah - I just don't think I'd use it as much as a pocket size one though... tar |
