To be more clear, I was referring to BUSINESSES who want me to trade
with them on-line.

Then it still doesn't really apply. Do you know amazon or ebays real life
postal address. And what if their postal address is diffent.
My Apple macs have never been posted from Cupertino, California.
Scammers can have business address's that look OK.

eBay Whittaker House, 2 Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, Surrey TW9 1EH.

that's not ebay's main office and they're not going to help with a
dispute over the phone or in person anyway.

OK - we all see things differently.

or in your case, not at all.

So?

so ebay's address and phone number do not matter in any transaction
done on ebay.

any disputes are handled directly between the buyer and seller.

ebay will step in only *after* the buyer and seller try to resolve it
and no resolution has been achieved. that's entirely without needing to
know ebay's address or phone number, and at which point, it may not be
decided in your favour.

Agreed. I provided the information at the request of Whisky-Dave.

Please send a Canon Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM lens.

Also in the Baltimore phone book, on-line public records from the State
of Maryland (which will also tell you how much I paid for my home), and
findable in scores, if not hundreds, of other places on the Internet.
Known to intelligence services of the People's Republic of China and
other hostile intelligence services through the theft of data from the
U.S. Office of Personnel Management. Also stolen from Google, Yahoo,
and numerous other on-line businesses.

Only an idiot would think that a total stranger can't get their
real-life postal address if the stranger wants it.

Spot-on, Davoud! :-D

There really is *NO* privacy on-line nowadays - but I really don't think
it matters very much.

I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring your website whenever I have
visited. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful things with all of us
who bother to explore.

only an idiot would think that applies to everyone.

there are a *lot* of people who are difficult to impossible to find,
especially for a total stranger, and often intentionally so.

You really must get over that obsession. nospam.

It's not an obsession. You are very well known as a stalker, and,
more recently, a blackmailer.

The signature has been altered, as per your demands, David. Why is
the blog still online?

I'd most certainly NEVER consider 'investing' in his new venture
without knowing exactly who he/she actual is in real life! (not
even via Patreon)

They'd be better off, as in much safer in real life if you didn't
know anything about them of a personal nature. It's quite clear what
you do with it, threads are all over the place describing your
stalking efforts.

Agreed. :-)

I do prefer, though, to know something about the folk with whom I
interact - both in real life AND on-line.

Whilst I'm well aware that profiles on Social Media and LinkedIn can be
(and ARE!) faked, I feel far more comfortable interacting with people
who are not deliberately trying to hide.

You missed the point: you don't have to give it to anyone; they can go
and get it. If you're on the grid‹rent or own, have a phone, have a car
and/or a driver's license, use the Internet, you are findable. Your
"protection" is that nobody cares.
