Thanks Mike. Those shots just reek of optical quality. Very nice.

I once worked in a University photo department where we had an ancient M2
Leica set up as a dedicated copy camera. This particular Leica had over two
million frames under its belt, and looked like it had just been taken out of
the box. It made me a Leica fan.

If the sky wasn't burned in, I'll eat my hat. Look at the water in the
second one. Where it meets the horizon, it's very dark. Moreover, the
darkness is a straight line across the image, while the horizon itself is
crooked. Still, I like this image particularly, just could have been
printed a bit more neatly.

I see what you mean... laid a thick mask on the paper? We can
see a bit of noise there at the edge, and yes, the horizon is not
level whereas the kid in the foreground is vertical...
