If the sky wasn't burned in, I'll eat my hat. Look at the water in the
second one. Where it meets the horizon, it's very dark. Moreover, the
darkness is a straight line across the image, while the horizon itself is
crooked. Still, I like this image particularly, just could have been
printed a bit more neatly.

I see what you mean... laid a thick mask on the paper? We can
see a bit of noise there at the edge, and yes, the horizon is not
level whereas the kid in the foreground is vertical...

Cheers,
Alan

'68 was a great year.
Any more info on the pics?

Jim Kramer

Unfortunately no a family member passed away and left a huge number of
negative and prints in the attic with the leica. I got the year from the
note and I will try and scan the images. There are hundreds from different
countries and etc.. Its a treasure trove of pictures.

Thanks Mike. Those shots just reek of optical quality. Very nice.

I once worked in a University photo department where we had an ancient M2
Leica set up as a dedicated copy camera. This particular Leica had over
two
million frames under its belt, and looked like it had just been taken out
of
the box. It made me a Leica fan.

Rob

Thanks I did not take them but I will scan more and put them up if you wish.
