Default Nikon 8700 WAS all wet!

Maybe I posted about getting the CP 8700 all wet! Well, would you believe -
it COMPLETELY dried out and is my camera for hiking, again. Took off that
pl cir filter and all shots are now sharply focused.

This is why I always buy Nikon - it takes the abuse - every piece of
equipment I own (all Nikon) has been dropped at one time or another and this
CP 8700, was wet, once before.

I carry this little gem on hikes in the rain, sun, etc., etc.

Thanks for listening.

Well, one of my CP 2000's survived a drop from nipple-height onto rocks
-- and I use it still.

However, another CP 2000 in my underwater housing did _not_ survive
flooding in salt water. (Not that I expected it to.......)
