Default Hasselblad 500C/M: Digital Options?

Does anybody know if the 500C/M takes a digital back, and if so, what are
my options? Thanks.

Do you know how much MF digital backs cost?

Sit down and take a deep breath before reading the following.

In 2 years they'll be $50.

Look at what a $5000 DSLR from 3-4 years ago is selling for today.

If you're still talking about the Polaroid we beat all to death last week,
it decidedly is not a DSLR.

There's a Phase One scanning back (for 4x5) on eBay
as we speak. $1500, no bids yet. This is the 103 Mbyte
model (5000 x 7200 pixels.) Vaguely tempting, but I
already get 3x the pixels from scanning the film.

There's a table on Hasselblad's website showing all the options.
Go to http://www.hasselblad.se , click "Products", then "V System", next
"Digital Photography", scroll down to the bottom of the page and click
"Digital backs", then scroll down again and click "Information table".

Remember that the field of digital photography is in constant flux, and some
of the over 25 options compatible with the 500 C/M listed may no longer be
available, while other, new options may not have made it on the list yet.
