Default Good alternatives to Titebond

Check out the latest issue of Fine Woodworking. There is an article on
wood glues. There is no one type of glue that will be perfect for all
applications. Which type of glue will work best depends on how it will
be used.

I just started using elmers stainable glue... I have 1/2 gallon of
titebond left and will use it too. But I had some white oak that filled
the pores up and was having a hell of a time cleaning up the squeeze out
and decided to try the stainable glue. It is quite good. But I will use
titebond for internal joints and the stainable for viewable joints.. It
takes a while longer to cure.
