Studio Ascorlight QC4 - opinion?
I have an opportunity to purchase a used QC4 that is about 6 years old. Comes with stands and two heads. Anyone have experience with these regarding reliability and spare parts? (The owner also has two QC 8's and two 1000's which he's keeping, so generally a good sign, I suppose). Anyone know where I can get another head? Anyone know where I can find an online manual? (Yes, I've googled). Are these heads the same as Norman heads? [ I can't find a photoflex adaptor for these heads ] Thanks!! Alan. -- -- r.p.e.35mm user resource: http://www.aliasimages.com/rpe35mmur.htm -- r.p.d.slr-systems: http://www.aliasimages.com/rpdslrsysur.htm -- [SI] gallery & rulz: http://www.pbase.com/shootin -- e-meil: there's no such thing as a FreeLunch. |

I haven't seen any Ascors around for awhile, are you sure they aren't more like 16-26 years old? |

I don't want to spend for nothing. On age you could be very right. The parts and another head are my real concern. Photoflex wrote back to me and said they could probably adapt something for me, which is nice of them (cost hasn't been mentioned...!)
