Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestion for software to use to create a slide

Thanks

Best bet would basically be to create a local web site. There are several
programs that will take a batch of images and turn it into a photo gallery
suitable for a web site. Copy the whole thing to CD. This will, of course,
require manual stepping to the next photo, but I don't see how anything
automated could be made universal.

hi!

i think that google's picasa software has a feature that can burn a
slideshow on a cd that is supposed to play on any computer.

however, to stick to the website idea, the manual stepping part is not
true. you can automatically redirect to the next page (this is what
happens when you see in the net: "you will be redirected in 10
seconds"). to do this redirection on every page to the next is easy but
a lot of work. if you use php, you should be able to get that done more
automatically.

good luck,
sebastian.

Irfanview (freeware) can do that as well.

You can use Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder which is very powerful
and very popular now, many friends and I like it very much. It's very
easy to create a customized DVD slideshow with photos and videos, and
to add music, transitions, and cool pan/zoom effects and make
beautiful DVD menus. Also, you can create .mp4, .wmv, .avi, .3gp
movies from videos in other formats for our iPod, Zune and 3GP Cell
Phones, Youtube .etc.

To be important, it has great photo and video editing function that
can meet all our needs. For example, you can perfect your photos with
attractive frames, special mask effects, and rich Cliparts, Wordarts
or Text. And it is easy to crop music to sync with slideshow. You can
use the video edit function to trim the video, add the caption and
frame to the video, and change the original audio with your favorite
music, etc.

You can download it free here

If you have a legal version of windows XP, you can get a free program,
Microsoft Photo Story 3 for Windows XP. It can do some basic
functions. It can let you do everything windows movie maker does but
with photos.

If you only want to do some basic edit to your photos, you can get the
free software Google Picasa which you can get he
