Hi David; this is Hank Meier.
Which model Rollei is it and what do you think is a fair price? Hank |

Hi--
Haven't heard from you in quite a while - hope you are doing well. The Rollei does not have the interchangeable VF, but does have the f3.5 Zeiss Planar and that appears to be in good (clean) condition. The advance works, but the backwind does not stop or wind the shutter (except once while I was playing with it). The body has all parts and leatherette, though it does not look nice. It also has the chrome lens caps (with considerable marking) and a well-worn but intact Rolleo leather strap. It has the meter sensor and the gizmo on the side, but the latter has been damaged. Focus is still good and smooth, with no wobble of the lens board. Probably worth fixing as a good "user", but not for collecting... Amount? Dunno - make an offer, I guess... -- David Ruether http://www.ferrario.com/ruether "HMeier9160" wrote in message ... Hi David; this is Hank Meier. More info: The film loads properly, and the shutter then winds properly and operates (slowest speeds slow, 1-second iffy) until frame three, after which the advance jams, though the shutter can be wound at any time. It looks like whatever is used to limit the advance properly is malfunctioning - the rest seems generally OK. -- David Ruether http://www.ferrario.com/ruether "David Ruether" wrote in message news:V5Qld.2279$tS4.1435@trndny09...
