IR films: Kodak HE vs. Konica 750?
I am interested in shooting infrared film with a 25A or 29 filter.
Can anyone please advise on the relative merits of the above two films? Also, how might they respond to a 70 filter? Thank you for your reply. Peter Nielsen |

Thank you for your reply. Peter Nielsen The question is how much red light do you want the film to receive? A W-23A will pass almost all red light and a little of the long green wavelengths. W-25, W-29, and W-70 filters have longer and longer cutoff frequencies. Here is a reasonable discussion: http://www.pauck.de/marco/photo/infr...er/filter.html This site has copies of the spectral curves of many of these filters (copied from an old Kodak publication): http://www.geocities.com/thombell/curves.html |
