Slide show which?

Thank you for the example in jalbum, so I was able to see how this showed.

But as said I want to send the presentation (with the jpg's included)
to somebody, so they can keep it.
Presentations on the web need to be maintaned in some way.

It seems with jalbum the JPG's are accessible and downloadable by the
recipient.

So I would like to have the presentation OffLine, so that they can be
kept but need no maintenance.

Then it seems that each of your recipients is going to need a stand
alone copy of the "slideshow" software, and then download every JPG in
the presentation anyway.
It looks to me as if you want some sort of PowerPoint type presentation
and there is no guarantee that all will have PowerPoint or KeyNote.
However, all should have a browser.

Using cloud storage or an online server, and giving your recipients the
option of downloading the individual JPG's they select.

What I would like is a program which you use to build a slideshow and
to deploy for example a runonly version of that program with the build
slideshow and the jpg's. So that when it is used on a highresolution
screen it works, but that it also works on lower resolution screens.
Windows has loads of programs which can show the slideshow, but none of
them are deployable.

What do you mean by a "high resolution screen" and "lower resolution screens"?

What exactly do mean by "deployable"?

For the Jalbum (again thanks for the example).
This probably does not meet my needs:
1. Controls which were visible during the show.
2. Controls changed from position/orientation, when going from vertical
to horizontal.
3. Full screen was not full screen, still controls visible and very slow.
4. Very limited amount of control how the slides were presented.

And allthough I liked the photos, I did not like this form of presentation.

Anyone with a Windows 7 computer can view any collection of JPEG images as a
slideshow.

I am open to other solutions as wel, whereby the sharing of the pictures

One stage I used Porta to make simple web pages - cause it was an easy
way out.

Someone else has suggested infaview.

All these I've used but its horses for courses.

If it were myself I would be more into an Adobe product to make the
slide show as it can then be a tailored output to include phones.

can also see the individual jpg's in the normal fashion.
And the user can store the complete set (for example an USB stick or a
DVD) on a bookshelf and look at in three years time.

I am not asking for the impossible because Windows Fotogalery is an
existing program and works on a modern PC without a problem.
