Default Advise wanted on color-balanced fluorescents.

For an upcoming event, I've been asked to set up a "paparazzi" area,
where the attendees can take posed pictures of a performer or a
small group. I expect the usual mix of cameras, video and still,
disposables and high-tech digitals, retro SLR's and everything in
between.

The question of lighting has reared it's ugly head. Of course,
the people in charge want good, bright and cheap. Hot lights
are a possibility, but in a crowd situation there are some
obvious problems. So I'm looking at color-balanced fluorescents.

Unfortunately, I have almost zero experience with that technology.
Are the Paterson InterFit DigitLite's a reasonable choice for this
application? Or am I better jury rigging something out of
"Natural Daylight" floods and reflectors?

Mike B.
