When I heard it I just thought it was a joke.

Happy Xmas from Sweden BTW.

Here we have Christmas although the Christianity is not
all that fashionable and we have a King although he has
no real power. So - tradition is not all that fashionable.

Yup.

It is a joke, not that it was intended to be. Considering the rampant
materialism that has morphed Jesus into Santa "The Paragon of 4Q
Earnings", a lot of folks can't stand themselves this time of year, so
there's always someone picking on someone else.
