Let's see, ctrl-c will interrupt whatever program I was running on the
command line, ctrl-v means insert the next character as it is (without
interpretation), so it will insert ctrl-v literally etc, so one ends with
something like

$ ^v^v )

That would be option-c and option-v's for me.


With a US keyboard map, that gives me a c-circumflex, and then some things
that look like checkmarks.

I dunno what I was thinking when I typed that; I mean command-C and
command-V's.


I kind of liked the checkmarks though.
