Need a "how to shoot weddings 101" book
Hi all,
I'm an advanced amateur photographer and I reluctantly accepted a wedding gig for the summer. I've looked around at a few books for initial help but none really stood out. I would like some examples with references as to their content and how they helped. Thanks Pete |

I used to post a lot of articles for newbie wedding photogs here, search back a ways, this NG has died the last couple years, but it used to be active. I've posted about doing an engagement portrait so your client and you are on the same page style and skill level, so they understand what your needs are, what their end of the creative process is. basically sets up a working relationship before the event, think of it as a rehearsal, I mean they have one to figure out how to walk down the dang aisle, they oughta have one cause most people don't have photographers while they are busy with family. then lots of posts on basic posing, professional lighting, album assembly. |

I can't give you any specific book titles but there are a bunch of Amherst
books several of which cover wedding photography. You should be able to find them at amazon.com. "Peter" wrote in message ...
