Windows "magnify" program substitute
Does anyone know of a program for Windows that magnifies what's under
the cursor, like Windows' "Magnify" utility, but reports RGB levels, or even allows individual channels to be turned on and off, or even a levels-type adjustment? TIA, -- John P Sheehy |

Pixie will give you the colors, but doesn't meet your magnification requirement. You may still find it useful: http://www.nattyware.com/pixie.html "...it will tell you the hex, RGB, HTML, CMYK and HSV values of that colour." John |

Capture One does this. I haven't seen the latest versions, but the older Capture One I have only does this for it's own window. Does it now do it for anything on the desktop? -- John P Sheehy |

Basic Zoom/Magnifier with RGB display: http://www.gipsysoft.com/zoomplus/ or a colorpicker + magnifier: http://www.flazh.de/pix/english/pix.htm Channel/Level control is more an editor's function.
