Nikon 70-210 AF lens - instructions needed

Hello.

Anyone know a web site that has instruction manuals for Nikon equipment?
I bought a Nikon 70-210 AF lens for a friend who is new to photography and
would like to get an instruction manual for the lens.

I know the instruction manual will not have much to say about the lens but
my friend is new to photography and likes to learn by reading the manual.

I have tried Nikon web sites and Google but had no success.

If your friend likes to learn by reading, why not get one of the system
guidebooks? As you suggest, there really isn't much to say about a lens,
but your friend might be quite interested to learn about many of the
available accessories (including his lens) and to find out what they are
used for. The Nikon Compendium would be one such book.

If its the f4 with the rotating front element, it was made available in the
mid-late 80s and its unlikely Nikon ever put up a manual on the net for it.
It was superceded within a couple of years. You might try one of the Nikon
yahoogroups to see if someone can send you a copy (without infringing
copyright of course).
