Default Beer resistant cameras?

As I can't really find that much difference between the Canon 350D and
Nikon D50, there is another criteria I would like to find out about.

How resistant are they to beer?

My Canon Powershot A80 has been sprayed with beer on several occassions and
still works fine.

This situation came about when I was taking photos of a band in a pub and
they sprayed the audience with beer. As I take most of my photos of live
music in venues that also sell alcohol this situation may also arise in the
future.

Thanks.

I wouldn't really have use for a full underwater system though. Also I had
my current camera kicked and knocked around and it still works fine.

My E-1 and three (14-54mm, 50-200mm, 50mm macro) lenses are weather sealed.
I've shot in pouring rain for about an hour and gone through Niagara Falls with
it. So assuming you are careful to rinse off the camera under the tap after
being sprayed with beer, it should be fine. Over in dpreview.com there was one
poster whose dog peed on her camera and lenses, and after being thoroughly
washed off, she still uses it.

In terms of other weather sealed cameras, I think the high end Canon and Nikons
are assuming you have appropriate weather sealed lenses.

Why are you exposing the camera to beer? Wouldn't it be better for the
beer to remain in the proper container, or someone's mouth? Grin.
Some recent Olympus models are quite water resistant, so they should be
equally as resistant to beer.

Sometimes the person singing shakes a can of beer up and sprays the
audience or someone spits beer at the stage from the audience (it happened
twice on Saturday.)

Also the camera has to be solid enough to clock people over the head with
if they give me the pip.
