I've had some fun, and perhaps made a few interesting pictures, with a
full-circle fisheye. It's a Pelang 8mm unit that cost me about $250,
though. I could afford that much to play with an extreme gimick, and I
could probably sell it used for fairly close to what I paid for it, if I
wanted to; so it wasn't a big risk to buy it.

No doubt the classic 6mm f/2.8 has various advantages, but I can't
afford to play at that level or anywhere vaguely close.
